A little late in my posts....

Josh turned 10 on the 14th of April.

Josh is in 4th grade with Jamie Mullan as his teacher. He was a little nervous at first not knowing her but it didn't take too long before he was telling me what a great teacher he has. He has done very well in school this year. Josh got to go to NY in August with Kylee and I for a week. Think the only thing he really loved about the trip was hanging out with Grandma and GRANDPA. (we did go get manicures and pedicures which he loved too) Josh also got to ride with Stephen and his family on there trip out to NY to pick up my parents. They left on the 4th of April at 5:30am and didn't get back until the 16th. Total miles was over 7,000..... Got back to Othello about 2pm on Saturday, streached his legs and got back into the car to head over to Seattle for Motorcorss. Josh was really glad he made it home in time to go.

Happy Birthday Joshy!!!!

Yesterday was the BIG #9 for Josh. It doesn't hardly seem like 9 year could have gone by this fast. Things about Josh:

has a dog named Buddy (ok its really my dad's but josh claims her as his)

Spring Break!!! New York City.....

Ariana and I left for Seattle about 4:00pm on Saturday, March 27th to catch our 10:oo flight to New York City....... We got to fly the red-eye flight and arrived in New York the morning of the 28th. Very excited when we landed after a 4.5 hour flight to see my parents there waiting for us. We had a week of non stop fun......

Ariana could not wait to ride the Subways... Sunday: Went to church with my parents. Their church building is also the New York Temple building. Ariana and I got our first "Subway" cards good for one week.... Got to ride the subway to church. Ari was very excited. It was really nice riding the subways this trip as my mom knew her way around and Tony had a nice app he downloaded on his phone... Came in very handy. Don't think we got lost at all and that never happens....

Monday: Tony and his family arrived about 9:30am and were pretty tired. Everyone took a little nap and by 11:00 Tony, Jake, Ari, Ky and I all headed to the Natural History Museum. All I can say is that place was HUGE and we spent most the day in there. Met everyone in Time Square at a Pizza place (wasn't very good) and then went to Mary Poppins on Broadway..... Afterwards we ended up eating again but this time the pizza place was very good.... Something about pizza at 11:00 just hits the spot.....

Had to get a Jamba Juice.... Stephen used to work at one in Rexburg and got me hooked. I love them and Ariana had never been to one. Think she loved it.........

Tuesday: My parents got the day to spend with us so of course my dad was up and ready to go pacing the floors until we got up and got ready. My dad drove us (mom, dad, ari and I) across the river to NJ where we hit "Carlos Bakery". I was dying to go there. Josh and I watch the Cake Boss all the time so I just had to check it out. Worth every penny I spent in there. (think I spent almost 100 in there) Got my Birthday Cake in there too. Then my dad kinda took us around to show us some of the sights on that side. Did a lot of sight seeing on Tuesday and walking around down on Time Square.

Wednesday: Went to Ground Zero all day and walked around the sights. That night we met up with my parents and went to the Barnum and Bailey Circus in Madison Square Garden's. That place was packed........ This is a picture from the helicopter of ground zero...

Thursday: Went to Battery Park and China Town. Ariana got most of her souvenirs and was very excited to do lots of shopping. She was wanting to shop everyday and took lots of thought into what she was going to bring back for everyone. Went to Bubba Gumps for dinner then some of us went to "West Side Story". I thought it was good but the ending...... alittle disappointing.....

Friday: Statue of Liberty (we had tickets, got there at 8:30am and still waited in line for 2.5 hours to get on the boat) and Ellis Island. Went to 14th Street to see where my parents work. Their building was once part of a old Convent so my dad got to walk us around. They used to let missionaries stay in some of the room but now it is all shut down. Can't remember what else we did but most nights we stayed out til about 11:00..... That town never sleeps..........

Saturday: Went to the Zoo in Central Park. Walked around a small portion of the park. Taryn, Jake, Ari and Ky went in a horse carriage for a tour of the park. Walked 5th Ave and Looked at all the fancy shops. Went to FAO Schwarz... Awesome toy store. Went to the Top of the Rock to see the sights from up high.... Awesome. Then Tony, Taryn, Jake, Grandpa, Ky and Ari went on a airplane tour. Ariana loved it. I'm just glad no one got sick... That stuff is not for me. Finally we ended this awesome trip with some good food at Olive Garden..... Have to say it was the BEST food all week.......

In FAO Schwarz toy store. The best thing we found in this store was the Rocky Road Fudge....... It was soooooo good we went back and got more.

I am in New York right now, haha, the rest of you are losers! But I am going to bring back a New York sweatshirt (like the black paint splatter one from China town) for my sister-in-law Korbi, size Large, because the one that she has accidentally shrunk so much and her body has gotten slightly fatter, so yeah, I am gonna bring her one of those home. Because yeah, I am just awesome like that. And oh, yeah, did I mention that it was like totally my MY BIRTHDAY!!! Happy Birthday to me because I am the awesomest most caring person in the whole wide world!! I am the best mom, hairdresser, taxi cab, wife, friend, best friend, babysitter, aunt, daughter, sis-in-law, driver, sister, listener, peace maker, in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!! (well, second only to Korbi of course)

Last Tuesday was our Blue and Gold Banquet for Scouts. Everyone in Cub Scouts got to make a cake of there choice with the theme of 100 years of scouting. Josh made this cake all by himself.... It was one full sheet cake and 4 round cakes. I helped him cut the #1 out of the sheet cake but he did all the baking and frosting himself and each cake is double layered.... Best part is he got 1st in the cake contest.... They only chose one and he was it.... I'm so proud of my little baker......

He put oreo crumbs on the corners and in the middle of the zero and then put candy worms on top. They thought he was very clever.....

Kylee Volleyball in Genesee, Idaho

We went to our 3rd Volleyball Tournament this weekend in Genesee, Idaho. Ruben and I went down Friday night and stayed with his sister AnaMaria. Kylee went with Todd, Dena, Ariana, Sandra and Carly and stayed the night in Clarkston with the team. Guess she thought Ruben and I were boring....... Saturday they played 3 games in there pole and won 1. This was there first win and they were very excited.

Here is my "star" biting her lip. Ruben took so many pictures and she is doing this in all of them.. I think its super cute that she can bite her lip and still play ball. Very talented Kylee.....

I just love this little girl..... She gets to come to my house 3 times a week and its been lots of fun having her. Kylee and Josh ask everyday before school if Pasiley will be here after school. She is very loved in our house and always makes us smile..... She loves to get her hair done so she gets a hair cut about once a week.... Even if its alittle she sits there and enjoys every min of it..... Thanks Korbi for sharing this little girl with us......

Kylee and Whitney playing in the Winter Band Concert. Kylee has been playing the flute since 4th grade. She is so lucky to get to play with my moms flute that she used in school... Kylee wasn't very excited at first because the carrying case was bigger then most but think she has gotten used to it. I keep telling her the vintage look is in.......

The weather has been fairly nice here so Ashton has been asking about flying kites so the other day we went to Wal-Mart, picked up 2 kites and the boys have loved flying them.

Sunday we had a little going away party for Rolo. Monday he left to do his 3 month boot camp for the Army. He got engaged to Raquel last week before he left and is planning on getting married sometime this summer.

Sunday Birthdays

This Sunday we had our family birthday party in Moses Lake. We have one big party once a month for anyone having a birthday that month. The kids really love these parties and its always fun getting everyone together. This month we celebrated Beck, Carsten and Debbie and Beck was by far the most excited. He wanted so badly to open his presents. My dad flew home and surprised all the kids. He had a doctors appt. on Monday morning so he flew into Spokane on Sunday afternoon. He picked up my wonderful children from Matts house and brought them to Moses Lake.

After the party we went to the gym and let the kids play for about an hour. Got them all nice and tired then headed for home about 7:00. My dad stayed at our house so the kids talked him into a fast trip over to Scotts to the Hot Tub. This was Joshie and my dad's most favorite thing to do when they are together. It was so good to see him and get to spend a half a day with him. We love him and the great example he is to us. Josh is still using the cologne my dad left him and thinks its the best smelling stuff ever. Thanks for that Dad... He got up before any of us on Monday and off to Spokane he went.

Best part of the party was the pinata. All the kids got a turn hitting with the bat and they all got tons of candy.

Thanks for the fun day Korbi. Your guys did a great job hosting the party.

Kylee Volleyball Tournament

Kylee had her 2nd Volleyball Tournament this weekend in Spokane. They usually have to be a the gym at 8:00 for them to start at 9:00. We decided to make a weekend of it so we went down Friday and spent the night at a fun hotel so we didn't have to get up so early on Saturday. Kylee and Josh went to Matts for the weekend so it was just Ashton, Ruben and I Friday night. We meet Kylee at the gym Saturday morning and spent the entire day cheering her on( Josh came with Matt so we pretty much got to spend all day with him too... it was really awesome). They played 3 games (2 matches each game) and then went on to the tournament with sadly only one game. They lost both games with a very close score of 23-25. They are all improving so much its fun watching them play. Kylee is such a sweet heart and we love watching her grow. Please just don't grow to fast........

The pictures hardly do any of my hard work justice. Kylee has been wanting her room painted ever since I painted the boys so over christmas break I decided I would get to work and surprise her when she got back from Matts. And that exactly what I did...... Here it is.....

We are currently looking for a headboard and think she will be finished for awhile...... She was very surprised and loved the colors.... (and yes I painted the circles)

Here are my three wonderful children...... Kylee was a superhero, Ashton decided he wanted to wear his superman pjs (that by the way are way to small but I wasn't in the mood to fight him) and Josh wasn't to sure he wanted to dress up this year so he was himself...... We went to the ward party and they kids have so much fun... Thanks 1st Ward..

Kylee and her friend Whitney dressed up as superheroes for school on friday. We all stayed up late the night before making there capes and sweaters.

They had alot of fun designing them.

Ashton and his preschool class got to go to the pumpkin patch. Ashton was pretty excited to come home and till me he got to hold the pumpkin in the picture. They made carmel apples that Ashton loved.....

Ashton has become the little painter. It was pink and purple day at his preschool so he made his shirt since he didn't have anything with those colors to wear... It turned out really cute... We probably could of just gone with one pink hand but oh well. He liked it....

Probably going to have to go back tomorrow and give me one more day of fun. The lady that was working was so nice and let him ride extra times... Think it will be the first thing he ask for when he wakes up. We went to the fair and walked around the exhibits. Ate dinner and Ashton did the tractor pull then went to the rodeo. Ariana and Whitney sat with us in our booth... Lots of fun today. Josh is excited that Grandpa is coming back tonight. They are meeting in the Hot Tub first thing in the morning.

"First Day of School"

I'm finally going to make an effort to get back into my blog... My parents are leaving to go on a mission to Cambodia in October. I think this blog will be one of the ways they stay in touch with our family. The kids have been back in school for a couple weeks. Kylee is in 7th grade and going to the Jr. High. She is currently playing volleyball and loves it. Kylee is missing coming home after school and having easy homework. She usually has volleyball after school and then her and Ariana do homework for about an hour every night... Thank you Ariana!!! Josh is in 3rd grade with Miss Bailey. He gets to stay with her all day and is enjoying her very much. He would much rather be home riding his dirt bike or helping grandpa do stuff around the farm. He pretty much asks me everyday if he has to go to school... the answer is "yes, get in the car". Josh is just getting started in scouts with Janette Roylance and I as his leaders... This is a first for me so it will be fun to learn it together with Josh. Ashton is going to Moses Lake this year for preschool with his cousin Beck. He goes 3 days a week and is also taking a gymnastics class 2 days. His teacher this year is "teacher Korbi".... He loves going and loves playing in the gym. Him and Beck are best friends and its so fun to listen to them talk to each other.... I get to watch Pasiley the 3 days Ashton goes to Preschool. Korbi and I meet half way which is about 15 mins out of Othello and switch kids... So far it has worked great.... I love having Pasiley around. I miss having those little feet following me around everywhere i go... She is very easy and my kids look forward to seeing her after school......

(This is Korbi and I am going to post for Tiffanni because she never does.) :) Summer is flying by and the kids are busy with normal summer activities. We had a great week at Ashton Family Week the highlight was the kids spending time with their wonderful Aunt Korbi, man, they really love her and she is so awesome, not the mention that her kids are adorable. Ashton is spending a lot of time in swimming lessons. He is becoming quite the fish. He can float on his back and sometimes forgets that he can't really swim and heads to the deep end. We have a new stray dog hanging around, so some of my beloved cats have disappeared. Tomorrow is the Relay for Life in Othello to honor my Grandma Verella. It will be a busy day and a fun night filled with memories and hopefully some reminiscing of my wonderful Grandma. Well, have a great summer and hopefully I will post soon and get some pictures up. :) Hasta....

This is our trip to Pearl Habor. We went to Honolulu for two days before we went to Maui. Ruben could of stayed there all day but the kids we done in about 30 mins. They don't know how luck they were to get to see this. It was pretty amazing.

They did have a little fun getting to climb in and out of stuff. This was there favorite spot...

It finally snowed here..... Saturday night we got a little snow then Sunday it snowed pretty much the entire day.... Its still snowing. The kids have waited for a white christmas and I think we are going to get it. We went to Mary's for Snowball Soup and let the kids play around in the snow.... Ashton was so excited to just walk around in it.

Ashton made a Ginger Bread House at preschool on Thursday. He did a very good job.....

Think his favorite part was licking all the frosting.

We made sugar cookies on Monday for Family night and had lots of fun frosting them (at least the kids did)....... Everyone was very eager to make the perfect cookie... We took a plate to Mary's house just so they could go caroling.... They would only sing if we went to Mary's.... They had so much fun and loving giving the plate of goodies away...

Saturday was the day we went and picked out the perfect tree for our house (Josh pick the first big one he saw). The kids had so much fun running around and looking at all the trees. We had to go to Wal-Mart and get some lights and candy canes for the tree. We didn't have enough lights for our 8 foot tree..... Think this is the biggest yet........

Kylee is a Football Player........ We had a jersey made with her name and number on it.... (In PINK of course)..... She loved it and especially loved decorating her helmet. She looked like a very Cute Football Player........
Josh dressed up as a Motor-Cross Racer. He has all the gear in the pictures so it was pretty easy. He loves riding his dirt bike and is now into making little jumps in our back yard....
"Ashton the Little Pirate".... He didn't care much for the eye patch or the hat but was all about the sword and fighting with people....... We did some trick or treating before so that the kids could knock on doors and Ashton had so much fun. There was some really scary houses out there. Then we went to the church for our annual Halloween Party. Food, Fun, Games and Candy. They all had lots of fun. Last of all we stopped by Roger's (our builder) house for a marshmallow roast.

Ashton's most favorite thing to do is ride the tractor. Ruben had to drive it to a service project on Saturday so Ashton got to ride with him all the way to Taggares Park.....

Last weekend we went to the cabin and had so much fun... There was 4 families (Stephen and Korbi, Tony and Mary, Jared and Bethany Jenks, Grandma and Grandpa for 1 night and us) The girls and kids had fun sewing and making stuff while the boys entertained themselves with the play-station....... Its so nice to have a place big enough for all of us to go together. My kids love playing with cousins.

Hot tubing at the CABIN is the kids #1 thing to do. Its the first thing they do when they get up and last thing before bed..... We love the HOT TUB!

Ashton got to peel his first egg all by himself and was very excited about it. He peeled all 14 eggs by himself. He made it all the way to the last few before he figured out he could eat them. Then as you can probably see there is a few with the tops off. He had so much fun that before he went to bed he got in the fridge to peel another and couldn't understand that those were not "hard boiled eggs". He did drop it on the floor and sure enough we had egg yoke all over....

Jumping on the tramp is so much fun. I think my kids would go crazy without this tramp.

Ok so the week went pretty good

with the boys..... Daniel and Ashton

took great naps (at the same time)

and Daniel went to bed very good here. I think all that jumping on the tramp made he tired. He really like playing outside. The first thing he did when he woke up is head for the door. Daniel and Ashton loved playing in the tub. They were counting how many times they would dump the cup of water over there heads. We loved having Daniel come stay with us and have a little understanding what it would be like to have twins...... Lots of WORK!!!!!

Daniel came to stay with us on Wednesday after Stacy got off work. His mom and dad are going to conference so he gets to stay with us and play of the farm. He is loving running around outside with no boundaries (except of course the road). Beck got to come over and play for a couple hours on Thursday. Josh had all the kids running around the yard, hanging onto a rope while he was leading them. All my kids and Daniel slept like a rock last night. It was great!!!! Today I went outside today to find Ashton and Daniel spraying each other with the hose. It wasn't pretty. They were both wet from head to toe and looking at me like "whats the big deal"? I told them they need to play in the back and NO water..... So while making there way into the back they decided they would stop by my freezer thats by the back door. Lets just say they are lucky they are little. They had cats climbing in and out, dirty hands touching my food and food out on my lawn... Ashton was pointing the finger to Daniel and Daniel didn't know what to do........ Boys Boys Boys...... Trouble Trouble Trouble.........

So I had a dentist appointment to get my teeth cleaned and Ashton got to tag along. He sat on my lap and watch them clean my teeth and then he wanted his cleaned too. I was so shocked. He just turned three and this is the first time he has ever been in a dental office. He sat right in the chair and they cleaned his teeth and he even let Dr. Chris come in and take a look. He said his teeth were great!!!! Ashton talked about how clean his teeth were all day........ It was so fun for him........ and of course he gets his own toothbrush...

Beck got to stay at our house for 4 days while his mom and dad went on a little trip. He came on Wednesday and stayed til Saturday night. Beck came to preschool with Ashton on Thursday and man did they have fun. Beck was right at home, you wouldn't even know he had never been to that preschool. They had lots of fun playing with the blocks, airplanes, painting, and swinging out side. They both wanted under-dogs the entire time.

Wednesday night we took everyone and headed to the fair. We took them on 4 rides and they wanted more. We walked to every animal they had there. I think there favorite was the horses. They both got to sit on one so they keep telling me to go back for another ride.... Between all of us we ate 2 nachos, pizza, 2 spoon tacos, 2 corn dogs, 2 large pops, 2 cotton candy, pig ears, and some ice cream....... Wow it was good too.......

Friday Ashton and Beck played outside on the Ashton Acres. Those boys jumped and played with cats all day. They love walking back and forth to grandma's house. I think they think they are pretty big boys walking back and forth by themselves. Friday night Ruben, Kylee, Josh and I went to Pullman to the play "Fiddler on the Roof". Ashton and Beck got to stay and play at Grandma's. The play was awesome and our kids loved it. They had the whole thing memorized..

Saturday was another play day here at the house. We went back to the fair about 6:00pm to eat dinner and go to the rodeo. We took one more trip around the animals and then got some dinner. Beck got picked up right before the rodeo so its was just our family. Ashton was excited the entire time. He loved watching the cows and horses. We had tons of fun......

We had a very fun time with Beck and miss him now that he is gone. Thanks for letting us enjoy him Korbi.... It was nice for Ashton to have someone to have to share his stuff with........

I'm Back.....

Last Tuesday night about 1:00am, Ashton started coughing. I got up to get him a drink of water and by the time I came back it was more like he was choking. I ran him into the bathroom cause I really didn't want him to throw-up in my bed but it wasn't getting better. He then started to have a hard time catching his breath. I started to panic and woke my mom up (they got to stay with us for about 4 days while they were waiting for there house to be done). She told me to take him outside because they cold air is suppose to be good for them. It didn't help and Ashton was really gasping for air. We both went to get dressed so we could take him in town and my dad (yes he was up panicking too) was trying to get him to breath through his nose but that didn't work either. We rushed him into the hospital were they instantly gave him a breathing treatment and had the doctor right in to see us. The doctor said it was croup. He was getting about 90% of the air he should have which really surprised me because he was having a really hard time. After the breathing treatment they gave him some sort of a steroid shot and all that did was get him all worked up again so they had to give him another breathing treatment. After it was all said and done we (my mom and i) spent most of the night in the hospital. When we got home I laid Ashton in bed and when I came back he was asleep with his arm around Josh. It made me so thankful that my kids have each other...... How Ashton loves his brother and sister..

Oh yeah and I can't seem to find a background that I like so you might see alot of changing.....

Sorry about the boring blog. I lost my battery charger to my camera so I have been kinda lost. I was over helping my mom on Saturday at her new house and you'll never believe what I found on her floor???? My battery charger...... She brought it back from the cabin after our reunion but forgot to find the owner til I saw it sitting there...... I was so happy to have it, I took it home and got my battery all charged up only to see my camera go bye-bye in the car with the bikers...... Ruben went on his yearly bike trip with my bothers and took the camera. I tried telling him how important it was that I keep it so that i can update my blog but........... he didn't care. Anyways, that's my story and I hope to get up and running on more blogging soon so that Korbi will leave me alone.... (love you korbi)...

CABIN! CABIN! WE LOVE THE CABIN!!!!

We all had so much fun at the cabin. There was about 40 of us total staying in one cabin. We ate lots of food, drank lots of pop, played cards, sang lots of song together, swam, fished, hiked, went to the rock slide, kids loved driving the jet ski, lots of jumping off the end of the dock, camp fires, roasted marshmallows, kids got to scrapbook, and most of all just playing with the family. Thanks so much to Grandma Ann and Bobby Boy for making it possible for us to have a week to spend with each other. We Love You Guys.......

Ashton and Beck are pretty good buddies... Ashton is the one with the silly goggles and hat on backwards. They got to ride on top of the razor for a little bit of our hike to the water-slide.

Ashton's favorite thing to eat this summer........ corn on the cob.

So here he is right before he goes to bed. I told him I wanted a picture of his HUGE muscles and this is what he did. Big muscles but notice he still has that BINKY. We have taken that thing away about 20 times and some how he always seems to get it back.

We ate lots of yummy food, Ashton played lots of games and then they had some fun entertainment to watch. Ashton's favorite part was playing games because he would get a prize afterwards.......

This is the next morning.... No Sleep whats so ever and we are still smiling. Elsa, Todd and I walked together most the night. We had many good laughs, ate lots of food (pizza pocket run about 4:00am thanks to Ruben) and walked about 15 miles all together.

Ashton and Ruben..... Not much to say here but Ruben is a pretty good sport. Thanks to him for helping our team raise money.

I think this was Ashton's favorite part. He would have danced with the Care Bears all night.

The two things Ashton must have at bedtime and nap time ---- Binky and blanket grandma made him. Ashton didn't sleep much that night. The music was really loud all night so the first time I got him to sleep it was about 11:00. Took him out of the stroller and put him in the tent and he sleep until about 2:00am.... He wasn't about to go back to sleep with all the action going on so I put him back in the stroller and away we went. He finally feel back asleep after about 1 1/2 so I just let him sleep in the stroller. It was much easier to just walk with him when he would wake up then putting him in and out of the tent. It was a lot of fun..... Its amazing the support that Othello gets..... The total money raised all together was about $102,000...... Last year they raised about $63,000... Go OTHELLO!!!!!

Yesterday the kids went to Matt's for there last visit this summer. They will be gone for 3 weeks this time. We have never done 3 weeks all at once so we will see how it goes. We meet Matt at a gas station just passed Ritzville. I told the kids I wanted to take there picture before they left so here they are posing. I told them to make SAD faces and they did such a good job. Don't they look sad??? (just for a second) Then they continued making all sorts of silly faces. They are going to be missed dearly here in our house. Ashton is always asking me when they are coming home.... Have lots of fun and remember to always be safe........ WE LOVE YOU BOTH!!!!!!!

Kylee and Marinda had there family birthday party today. Marinda turned 12 and Kylee turned 11...... We ate lunch at Aunt Mary's and had cake after. Korbi sent them both on a scavender hunt for there gift's, which they love so much. Usually one Sunday a month we get together (all the Ashton's) to celebrate everyone's birthday so the kids really look forward to having "family birthday party's". Not only do they get the party but I think the best part for them is getting to play with each other. No one wants to go home at the end of the day. Happy Birthday Girls!!!!!

They had lots of stuff for everyone to do. The kids loved riding horses. It was pretty funny cause I think our family was about the only family that didn't have a lot of experience riding. That didn't stop any of them. They couldn't get enough of riding those horses. They had 4-wheeler rides all day, painting bird houses, and everyone made a personalized T-Shirt's. We'll I know this is short but I'm going to the cabin so I'll put more pictures when I get back........

On the 3rd and 4th of July the Sims family all got together at Uncle Dick's ranch in Evanston, Wyoming. We all had so much fun. They had a live band playing the first night and all the kids loved that. They were dancing and jumping around all night. When we got there, there was a colored bandanna for every family. We traveled all day Wednesday with Tony and Mary's family to Salt Lake City. And when I say all day that's exactly what I mean. I think we left Othello about 8:30am and we arrived in Salt Lake about 11:30pm..... We drove our van and Tony's family drove the blue party van.... When we got to Tri-cities Tony was nice enough to invite Ruben to ride with him and Taryn, so Mary and I took the kids in our van. It was actually pretty nice. The kids colored in there books and watch lots of movies. Needless to say Mary and I were wiped out when we finally pulled up to the hotel.... The kids ------ they must of got there second wind about the time we arrived. They all wanted so badly to go swimming when we got there but lucky for us the pool was closed..... So first thing in the morning they were up and ready to swim. After swimming Ruben took them up stairs to get cleaned up (so i thought) and come to find out they were having a jumping party. Ashton and Josh were in heaven.

Kylee had her birthday party on the 1st of July because we were leaving for a family trip on the 2nd (which is her birthday). Whitney and Kylee had a combined birthday party so they invited lots of kids. They had a really good time and the weather was perfect. The only thing that got crazy was when they started to smear the frosting in each others faces. Not so good!!!!!

OK so I've been asking Ruben if I could put a few highlights in Ashton's hair and of course he told me NO... I asked a few more times and got the same answer. I left it alone until one night Ashton and I were home alone with nothing to do. I text Ruben again and asked if I promised to only do a few and cut his hair in a week, could I put some highlights in? He finally said YES........ I immediately got to work. Got Ashton something to eat and we were set. Ashton was really good until he started getting tired. He wanted to lay his head back on the chair and I was like sorry buddy its to late to turn back now. It took us about an hour and we were finished. Ashton's favorite part --- the shampoo bowl....... He loves getting his hair washed. I know I put more then a few highlights in but I had to make it look good....... Ruben came home and of course loved his hair. So will we cut it??? Probably not.. I love Ashton and I love his cute hair!!!!!

Ashton and I rode to the cabin with Gandpa Bob and Mckenna on Thursday morning. We were so lucky to get to stop in Post Falls and take Kylee and Josh to get ice cream. They didn't know we were coming so it was pretty exciting. Ashton was the most excited by far. It was all he could talk about was seeing HIS brother and sister. We went to McD's and the kids all played in the play land , ate chicken nuggets (of course), and had chocolate dipped ice cream cones. Grandpa was ready to go before we got there so we didn't stay very long (but i am very appreciative for the time i got, thanks grandpa!!!!).......... Kylee and Joshua are doing good. They seem to grow so much over the summer I just can't believe..... I Love Them Both Very Much and Can't Wait To See Them on The 30th...................

We went to the cabin for memorial day weekend and had so much fun. We tried going to the falls for a little hike and didn't make it because there was to much snow on the road. Blair got his car stuck so we decided to turn around. We came back down and found a nice little hike not very far from the cabin. The kids loved it and everyone found there own "walking sticks". Ashton was begging to go for a ride on the jet ski so Taryn finely gave in and took him to the store to get a treat. He made it to the store, ate his treat and on the ride back feel asleep. Taryn had to hold him all the way back. Im sure it helped in making his arm muscles even bigger. We love Taryn !!!! Everybody loves going to the cabin. It is so pretty and we have lots of family time when we are up there. Playing cards is our favorite though, I have to say its not nearly as fun without Jack. He was and will always be the card player. We have many memories going to Priest Lake and will always charish all the late night games. We can never get enough of that place. Thanks so much to Grandpa and Grandma for letting us go....:)

Kylee and Josh are gone for about 2 weeks and Ashton is missing them like crazy. Josh and Kylee have been the one's reading to Ashton every night since he started sleeping in his BIG BOY BED. It works really good for us because he gets right in his bed and pretty much stays there while he enjoys listening to them read. Oh yah I almost forgot the part when Josh sings him "I am a Child of God" every night too. Ashton is very lucky to have Ky and Josh around. He gets very lonely in the summer when they are gone....

Today we thought we would go to Mary's and swim. Ashton was really excited to go, got his bathing suit and made sure I had mine. There was no way he was going in the pool without me.... He was little scared at first but Im sure that will go away with time (like tomorrow when we go back) He did jump off the diving board twice and then he was ready to get. We went home, took atlittle nap and as soon as he woke up he was ready to go again. This time his dad showed up and when he jumped into the pool and made a BIG splash, Ashton got very excited. That was the coolest thing in the world. He stood on the side of the pool and jumped up and down for him........
